Mako Productions is all about mastering the art of visual storytelling. We are very passionate about our craft and delivering a killer final product.
Weddings are expensive—we get that. Founded in 2018, Mako Productions originated with the mindset of making sure our couples don’t stay on the fence about videography because of cost. Mako Productions promises to keep our pricing below the average cost of videography to ensure that couples with diverse budgets have plenty of options to choose from. We will always be among the most affordable, quality-driven videography and photography teams.
One of our many guarantees is that you will have so much fun working with us. Camera shy? No worries, so are we – that’s why we hide behind the cameras. But in all seriousness, if you are camera shy, we will make sure you feel comfortable while capturing your best side.

Step One
We carefully craft the perfect package for you and send you a wedding questionnaire to complete.

Step Two
Based on the wedding questionnaire provided, we will send over a contract for signature and an initial deposit.

Step Three
1 month out we will reach out and go over the vision. At this point, we will ask for an updated itinerary, so we know every detail about your day.

What type of equipment do you use?
Video: Canon EOS 90D equipped with an EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Lens. The gimbal I use is a Zhiyun WEEBILL-S Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer. “The Bird” (Drone), we use A DJI Mini 2 Pro
Photo: Canon R6 mirrorless with portrait and wide-angle lenses. Profoto flash and OCF. Additionally, a 35mm film on a Canon camera and use Polaroid 600 and instax wide.
What makes you different than your competitors?
Plain and simple, we are super friendly, communicative, and affordable. We provide you kick-ass quality and time. We get it—weddings are expensive, and keeping to a budget is a must. We wouldn’t want anybody to sacrifice their vision just because of $$$. You will also have such a fun time shooting with us. We want you to enjoy your special day, get all the shots we need, and get you to your people and party.
What is the typical turnaround time?
Video: Within 30 – 40 days of your wedding day
Photo: Between 30 – 60 days of your wedding day.
What is your deposit?
20% deposit when you sign your contract, the remaining balance due 1 month prior to your wedding day.
We can be flexible with you, just give us a shout!
Do you travel and are their any fees?
Yes! For anything within the DMV, we typically do not charge travel fees. Under some circumstances, some travel fees may be included but we will absolutely be transparent about that at contract time. No hidden fees whatsoever.
Do you have a list of preferred vendors to use?
Yes! From wedding planners to florists and caterers, we have worked with some of the best companies in the industry & would love to share their information with you!
